Privacy Policy

Iron Deck Ventures LLC, doing business as Ready Room Alpha ("Ready Room Alpha," "we," "us"), is a Texas business. This policy explains what information we collect on readyroomalpha.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

When you sign up for emails (the pop-up or a newsletter form): your email address.

When you use the contact form: your name, email, message, and your phone number if you choose to give it (it's optional). To block spam, the form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which looks at basic browser and device signals.

When you buy something: your name, email, billing address, and what you bought. Payment details (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Link) go straight to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.

When you email us about coaching: whatever you choose to include in your email, such as your name, email address, and what you'd like help with.

When you browse the site: our website platform, Squarespace, automatically records basic visit information. That includes your IP address, approximate location based on that IP, browser and device type, the page that referred you, and the pages you view. We see this as traffic reports and a 7-day activity log.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for advertising.
  • We don't use Google Analytics or advertising pixels (such as Meta/Facebook or TikTok) on this site. For site analytics we use only Squarespace's own tools.
  • We don't send text-message marketing. If you give us your phone number, we use it only to reply to you.

How we use it

  • To deliver what you bought, send receipts and download links, and help if something goes wrong.
  • To reply to your messages and set up coaching if you ask for it.
  • To send you Ready Room Alpha guides and updates, but only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us and we'll remove you.
  • To keep the site working, secure, and free of spam, and to understand which pages are useful.
  • To keep the records that tax and accounting rules require.

Who handles it for us

We use a small number of service providers. Each one gets only what it needs.

  • Squarespace hosts the site, our store, and our forms, and provides site analytics.
  • Mailchimp stores our email list and sends our emails.
  • Google Sheets keeps a copy of email signups.
  • Stripe is the payment processor behind Squarespace Payments. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link handle your information under their own terms if you choose to pay with them.
  • Google reCAPTCHA provides spam protection on the contact form.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect against fraud.

Cookies

Squarespace places cookies on your browser. The contact form's Google reCAPTCHA may also set Google cookies to block spam. We don't add any others.

  • Necessary cookies keep the site, your cart, and checkout working, and protect against fraud. Examples are crumb, CART, hasCart, and _ssid.
  • Analytics cookies count visits and unique visitors. Examples are ss_cid, ss_cvr, ss_cvisit, ss_cpvisit, and ss_cvt, which last from 30 minutes to two years.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but the cart may not.

How long we keep it

  • Email list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Contact messages and coaching emails: for as long as we need them to help you, then deleted.
  • Order records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Squarespace activity log: the visit details expire after 7 days.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or to stop emailing you. Email coaching@readyroomalpha.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example, Texas or other U.S. states, or the EU/UK), the law may give you these rights. We honor these requests no matter where you live.

Other things to know

  • Security: our providers protect data in transit with encryption (HTTPS). No website is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum.
  • Children: this site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
  • Independence: Ready Room Alpha is independent and not affiliated with the VA or the U.S. government.
  • Related policies: see our Refund Policy and Terms of Sale.
  • Changes: if we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site or by email.
